Soccer Recap: Pilot Point Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Pilot Point duked it out withPanther Creek on Friday. The Pilot Point Bearcats fell just short of the Panther Creek Panthers by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 703rd, while the Panthers are ranked 265th).

Pilot Point is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Panther Creek, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Aubrey the next time they take the pitch. Pilot Point will head out to face Aubrey at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Panther Creek will host them at 1:00 p.m. on February 8th.
