Basketball Recap: Fremont Takes a Loss

Fremont lost against Lincoln Southeast back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fremont Tigers took a 46-29 bruising from the Lincoln Southeast Knights. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Fremont lost, don't look at Jenna McClain. Despite the final result, she posted 22 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 75.9% of Fremont's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lincoln Southeast, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Fremont will welcome Omaha South at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fremont is facing Omaha South at the right time seeing as Omaha South is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lincoln Southeast, they will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln East at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln Southeast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
