Baseball Recap: Cupertino Takes a Loss

Cupertino managed to slip by Ann Sobrato the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pioneers came up short against the Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 8-0. The shutout was out of character for the Pioneers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Cupertino's loss dropped their record down to 12-11-1. As for Ann Sobrato, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cupertino will venture away from home to face off against Saratoga at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ann Sobrato, they will head out to challenge Evergreen Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
