Wayzata has gone 8-2 against Eden Prairie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wayzata Trojans will challenge the Eden Prairie Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Wayzata will be strutting in after a victory while Eden Prairie will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Wayzata made easy work of Buffalo and carried off a 97-71 win. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Eden Prairie came up short against Hopkins on Wednesday and fell 74-64. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Royals are ranked first).

This is the second loss in a row for Eden Prairie and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Wayzata, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3.

Wayzata was able to grind out a solid win over Eden Prairie when the teams last played back in January, winning 69-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wayzata since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
