Trinidad won the last time they faced Raton and things went their way on Monday too. The Trinidad Miners put the hurt on the Raton Tigers with a sharp 34-12 win. The Miners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Trinidad is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points over those games. As for Raton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinidad will welcome Sangre de Cristo at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Raton, they will square off against Tucumcari at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tucumcari will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Raton surely won't give up without a fight.
