Basketball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview lost against Redmond back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ridgeview Ravens lost to the Redmond Panthers on the road by a 66-52 margin. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Panthers are ranked 27th).

Ridgeview is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14. As for Redmond, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Ridgeview will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Redmond, they will venture away from home to challenge Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bend is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.
