Softball Recap: Rhinelander Hodags vs. Medford Raiders
Rhinelander extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 2-5 in the process. They lost 15-0 to the Medford Raiders. If the Hodags were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Raiders when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zayleah Leonhardt, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, seven RBI, and two doubles. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Chelsea Gebauer was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Medford beat Rhinelander by a score of 20-2 later that day.
