Metter had won eight straight games and Zion Saffore did her part to make it nine on Tuesday. The Metter Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jenkins County War Eagles 65-25 thanks in part to Saffore, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.1 boards per game.

Zacarea Walker was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to nine rebounds and five steals. Walker is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

Jenkins County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Haley Newton, who went 6 for 15 on her way to 13 points and six rebounds, and Joyin Roberson, who posted five points.

Metter's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points over those games. As for Jenkins County, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.
