Baseball Recap: Arcadia Comes Up Short

Arcadia lost against Mesquite back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Christian Baca made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Arcadia's record now sits at 4-15. As for Mesquite, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Mesquite will face off against Vista Grande at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Arcadia will be paying especially close attention to Mesquite's contest: after Mesquite faces off against Vista Grande, they'll take on Arcadia again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
