Basketball Recap: McClintock Chargers vs. Carl Hayden Community Falcons

If McClintock was riding high fresh off their 67-43 takedown of Alhambra last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The McClintock Chargers fell just short of the Carl Hayden Community Falcons by a score of 65-62 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-58 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, McClintock still got an impressive performance from Joshua Mcmanaway, who went 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points. That was a full 50% of McClintock's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Carl Hayden Community's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances.
