Football Recap: Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Valley came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 29-6 to the Spring Valley Grizzlies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 28-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Nah'Lage Butler threw for 76 yards on 12 of 23 attempts. On the ground, Tito Roldan rushed for 51 yards.

Antwan Osborne continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Spring Valley, rushing for 96 yards and one score on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 94 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes. King Kahalewai was in the mix as well, providing the Grizzlies with two TDs.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Spring Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Valley and Spring Valley will both be playing Del Sol the next time they take the field. The Grizzlies will head out to face the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Vikings will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th.
