Volleyball Recap: Washington Gets the Win

Washington saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fremont Firebirds by a score of 2-0.

Washington's offense was headlined by Ethan White and Jacob Ding, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Kevin Hsieh and his 25 assists. Finally, he was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

The win got Washington back to even at 6-6. As for Fremont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Washington has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Burlingame on the 12th. As for Fremont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Oak Grove on the 12th.
