Volleyball Recap: Forrest Starts off Right with Win over Mt. Pleasant

Forrest gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mt. Pleasant Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Forrest took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11.

Forrest has already played their next match (against Lawrence County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on the 12th.
