Soccer Game Preview: Gardner-Edgerton vs. Eudora

The Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers are taking a road trip to challenge the Eudora Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Eudora took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Gardner-Edgerton, who comes in off a win.

Gardner-Edgerton will bounce into Monday's game after beating Shawnee Mission West, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Trailblazers came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Eudora was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against Bishop Miege, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for Eudora in their meetings with Bishop Miege: they've now lost three in a row.

Gardner-Edgerton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Eudora, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Gardner-Edgerton beat Eudora 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trailblazers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
