After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arthur-Okaw Christian, Charleston was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Urbana Tigers, sneaking past 1-0. For Charleston, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 victory Urbana walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Charleston's one-goal win came courtesy of Hadley Webb, who's now up to nine this season.

Charleston's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Urbana, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charleston will square off against Mt. Zion at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Urbana, they will face off against Peoria at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Urbana are facing Peoria at the right time seeing as Peoria are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
