Jerlin Melo Game Report: @ East Boston

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jerlin Melo stepped things up a notch to give Greater Lawrence Tech the 'W'. Melo produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and not a single walk).

Looking ahead, Melo and Greater Lawrence Tech will head out on the road to square off against Malden at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Reggies will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 224 places lower in Massachusetts), but they're not letting that get them down.
