Basketball Recap: Fort Washakie Comes Up Short

Fort Washakie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Cokeville Panthers 69-36. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Panthers are ranked 12th).

Fort Washakie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cokeville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Fort Washakie has already played their next contest (against Lander Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cokeville will be playing in front of their home fans against Saratoga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
