Basketball Recap: Fairfield Piles Up the Points Against Eastside

Fairfield won the last time they faced Eastside and things went their way on Saturday too. The Fairfield Falcons blew past the Eastside Blazers 67-40. That 27 point margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

The victory got Fairfield back to even at 4-4. As for Eastside, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfield will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westview at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for Eastside, they will square off against West Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
