Volleyball Recap: Baylor Red Raiders vs. Lipscomb Academy Mustangs
Baylor and Lipscomb Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Baylor had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Red Raiders seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.
While Baylor was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-18.
It was another big night for Mary Katherine Hall, who had 30 digs for Lipscomb Academy. Hall is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.
Baylor's defeat dropped their record down to 30-6. As for Lipscomb Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 23-7.
As of now, neither Baylor nor Lipscomb Academy have any future games scheduled.
