If Southwestern Randolph wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wheatmore, they should've done a better job of containing Jordan Starkey. The Warriors snuck past the Cougars with a 44-39 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Starkey, who shot 71% from the field en route to 18 points and five rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Collin Dodd, who posted nine points and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

The victory got Wheatmore back to even at 2-2. As for Southwestern Randolph, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Wheatmore won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Forbush at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will challenge West Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
