Baseball Recap: Burney Raiders vs. Redding Christian Lions
Burney extended their losing streak to eight on Tuesday, dropping them down to 4-16. They lost 11-1 to the Redding Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in April.

On Redding Christian's side, Kobe Corona and Lukas McLaughlin made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Corona pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, McLaughlin tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). At bat, Corona went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double, while McLaughlin went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That double was Corona's first of the season.
