Soccer Game Preview: Strasburg vs. Central Woodstock

The Strasburg Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Central Woodstock Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Strasburg's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Strasburg fell victim to Madison County and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountaineers.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Woodstock). They put the hurt on Luray with a sharp 4-1 victory on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Central Woodstock considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Central Woodstock, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5-1 record.
