While Iola's victory against Leon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs skirted past the Cougars 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.

In the three sets Iola was on fire: they won each by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Iola's victory bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Leon, their loss ended a 12-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-6.
