Volleyball Recap: Heritage Academy Find Success

Heritage Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Northern Virginia HomeSchool Centurions by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Ava Dahn paced Heritage Academy's offense, picking up 30 kills. Dahn also shared the team's lead in assists with Payton Wood: they picked up 16 each. Wood also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Tasha Mongan, each putting up three.

When it comes to explaining why Northern Virginia HomeSchool lost, don't look at Player #49. Despite the final result, she had 24 digs and three aces.

Heritage Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Northern Virginia HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.

Heritage Academy has already played their next contest (against Mount Airy Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northern Virginia HomeSchool, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Covenant Christian Academy on the 6th.
