Baseball Recap: Fort Stockton Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Fort Stockton's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Greenwood Rangers on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Fort Stockton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gerry Diaz, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Fort Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Greenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Fort Stockton will square off against Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Seminole will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Greenwood, they will challenge Andrews at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
