Volleyball Recap: Bishop's Finds Playoff Glory Versus Granite Hills

Bishop had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Granite Hills Eagles on Thursday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bishop's had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Granite Hills lost, don't look at Tristan McDaniel. Despite the final result, he had 38 assists and five digs. McDaniel is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 14 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Bishop's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-9. As for Granite Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-12.

Bishop's has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Francis Parker on the 10th. Granite Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
