Basketball Recap: Meridian Picks Up 19th Straight Win at Home

Meridian had won two straight games and AJ Flenoid did his part to make it three on Friday. The Meridian Bobcats walked away with a 73-63 win over the Madison Trojans thanks in part to Flenoid, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and 30 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Meridian pushed their record up to 22-6 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points over those games. As for Madison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
