Basketball Recap: Bay Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Bay won the last time they faced Pass Christian and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bay Tigers strolled past the Pass Christian Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 43-26. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Pirates are ranked 230th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bay has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points per game. As for Pass Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Bay has already played their next game, a 47-30 win against Greene County on the 17th. As for Pass Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-20 loss against Moss Point on the 17th.
