Soccer Recap: MacDonald Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aragon, MacDonald was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eastside College Prep Panthers a 6-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Condor needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

They hit Eastside College Prep with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noah Gonzalez (2), Pedro Pineda Rodriguez (2), Bryan Oliva, and Kush Patel.

MacDonald's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Eastside College Prep, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

MacDonald will square off against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Eastside College Prep and Harker will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
