The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers will take on the Friendly Patriots at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.5  points per game  this season.
Back in December of 2024, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South ended up a good deal behind Gwynn Park and lost  80-66. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost three in a row.

 Loss or not, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South got some senior leadership from  Jayden Webster and  Jordan Exton.  Webster  posted 18 points and seven  rebounds, while  Exton  put up 20  points. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Webster has scored all season.  Lincoln Nelson was another key player,  putting up 11  points.
Meanwhile, Friendly came up short against Tuscarora on Monday and fell  46-39. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 248th in Maryland, while the Huskies are ranked 112th in Virginia).
Defeat or not, Friendly got some senior leadership from  Jeremiah Roach and  Khamari Dowery.  Roach  had seven points along with nine  rebounds and five  assists, while  Dowery  posted five points and eight  rebounds. Those nine  boards gave  Roach a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Isaiah Richardson, who  put up three  points.
 Even though they lost, Friendly  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 14  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  contests.
 Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Friendly, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record  this season.
 Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South was able to grind out a solid  win over Friendly in their previous meeting  back in December of 2023, winning  62-52. Will Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South repeat their success,  or does  Friendly have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
