Baseball Recap: Olympia's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Olympia came into Monday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Cypress Creek Bears 9-3 on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Natas Leman looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Ethan Rathmann was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Engerberth Finol, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
