Basketball Game Preview: Ardmore Tigers vs. East Limestone Indians

Ardmore hasn't had much luck against East Limestone recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Ardmore Tigers will face off against the East Limestone Indians at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Ardmore is coming into the game on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They came out on top against Athens Bible by a score of 68-59 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, East Limestone came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 91-54 win over the Rattlers. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

East Limestone is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Ardmore, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-10.

Ardmore was taken down by East Limestone 86-51 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Ardmore avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
