Volleyball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus lost against Grundy Center back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sailors fell 2-0 to the Spartans.

Columbus' loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Grundy Center, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Coming up, Columbus will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gladbrook-Reinbeck at 6:30 p.m. As for Grundy Center, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Dunkerton on the 20th.
