Flat Rock had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Ecorse Raiders 6-4. Six seems to be a good number for the Rams as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Jayden Yancy made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mikey Giroux, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run. Ty Bergeron was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Flat Rock's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ecorse, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
