            Softball Recap: West Linn Lions vs. Wilsonville Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            West Linn got themselves on the board against Wilsonville on Monday, but Wilsonville never followed suit. They were the clear victors by  a  9-0 margin over the Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played  back in March of 2023.
 Olivia Hart looked comfortable as she  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side, West Linn got a  massive  performance out of  Meg Allen, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Emery Curtis was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
West Linn has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.0 runs this season. As for Wilsonville,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-2.
 Looking ahead, West Linn will head out to  square off against Mountainside  at 12:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Wilsonville, they will welcome Tualatin  at 2:00  p.m.  on Monday.
