Volleyball Recap: Manchester Panthers vs. Triway Titans

Manchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Triway Titans, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-10.

Emma Ross paced Manchester's offense, picking up four kills. Ross got some help from Alaina Craig and her five assists. Reghan Reedy controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Triway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reagan Underwood, who had five digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Payton Snyder, who had seven digs and two aces.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Triway, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Manchester is set to challenge their familiar foe Fairless at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Triway will take on rival Orrville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
