Softball Recap: Altavista Comes Up Short

Altavista lost against Appomattox County back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colonels came up short against the Raiders, falling 8-1.

Altavista now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Appomattox County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Altavista didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-2 defeat against Dan River on the 9th. As for Appomattox County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Alleghany on the 5th.
