Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Avery Williamson and Sarah Perez (Ojeda) Lead Western to Victory + How To Watch

Western won the last time they faced Pompano Beach and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Golden Tornadoes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Western was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-27, 25-14, 25-21.

Western was led to victory by Sarah Perez (Ojeda) and Avery Williamson. Perez (Ojeda) had 11 digs and five aces, while Williamson had 12 digs and 11 assists. Perez (Ojeda) has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Western was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.

The win got Western back to even at 2-2. As for Pompano Beach, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
