The Tulare Union The Tribe scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They managed a 73-69 victory over Kerman. Winning may never get old, but Tulare Union sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Tulare Union's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Stevenson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. The match was Stevenson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Demaje Riley, who scored 24 points along with four steals.
Tulare Union has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Kerman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tulare Union and Lemoore will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lemoore has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 232 points over their last three contests. As for Kerman, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Hanford West at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Hanford West's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
