Basketball Recap: Bolivar Comes Up Short

Bolivar blew Carl Junction out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Carl Junction got their revenge. The Bolivar Liberators fell just short of the Carl Junction Bulldogs by a score of 52-49. The Liberators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Bolivar's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Carl Junction, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 15-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolivar will venture away from home to challenge Branson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carl Junction, they are taking a road trip to take on McDonald County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
