Volleyball Recap: Denver Waldorf Comes Up Short

Denver Waldorf lost against D'Evelyn on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars.

Denver Waldorf started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-15.

Tucker Loegler-Haig paced Denver Waldorf's offense, picking up 13 kills. Loegler-Haig got some help from Cayden Quinn and his 30 assists.

Denver Waldorf's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for D'Evelyn, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3.

Denver Waldorf has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Kennedy on the 29th. As for D'Evelyn, they will square off against DSST: Conservatory Green at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
