Basketball Recap: Alliance Comes Up Short

Alliance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hot Springs Bison. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bison apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Alliance's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hot Springs, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Alliance will head out on the road to square off against Torrington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hot Springs, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lakota Tech at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
