Flag Football Recap: Piner Takes a Loss

Piner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Montgomery Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-13 back in September.

Piner's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Montgomery, they moved to 6-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Piner is set to square off against their familiar foe Elsie Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Montgomery will take on rival Analy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
