The Colony came into Friday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past the Lone Star Rangers with a 44-40 win on Friday. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 62-41 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory got The Colony back to even at 12-12. As for Lone Star, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

The Colony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 63-9 win against Turner on the 14th. As for Lone Star, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-43 victory against Newman Smith on the 14th.
