Basketball Recap: Aztec Takes a Loss

Aztec lost against Gallup on February 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aztec Tigers fell to the Gallup Bengals 65-59.

Aztec's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Gallup, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Aztec is taking a road trip to square off against Miyamura at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Miyamura will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Aztec surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gallup, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. Gallup knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Bloomfield likes a good challenge.
