Softball Game Preview: Central Bears vs. Hernando Leopards

Central hasn't had much luck against Hernando recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Central will square off against Hernando at 7:00 p.m. Central has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Central came up short against Weeki Wachee on Friday, falling 14-4.

Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Atkinson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Hernando played against Tarpon Springs on Friday and won via forfeit.

The win (which was Hernando's third in a row) raised their record to 8-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
