Volleyball Game Preview: Golden Sierra Grizzlies vs. Lindhurst Blazers

The Golden Sierra Grizzlies will venture away from home to take on the Lindhurst Blazers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Golden Sierra didn't have quite enough to beat San Juan and fell 3-2. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Golden Sierra wouldn't go down easily and took San Juan into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 25-18, 19-25, 19-25, 25-17, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Lindhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Vacaville Christian, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-18, 25-11.

Golden Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lindhurst, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Golden Sierra took their victory against Lindhurst in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Grizzlies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blazers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
