Baseball Recap: Archbishop Wood Vikings vs. Cardinal O'Hara Lions

Archbishop Wood had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Cardinal O'Hara on Monday. The Vikings never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.
The result came thanks to Richie Bayachek's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
