Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Beetdiggers vs. Stansbury Stallions

The Jordan Beetdiggers will head out on the road to challenge the Stansbury Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jordan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Jordan came up short against Hillcrest and fell 72-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Beetdiggers still had to take the loss.

Mason Tolley put forth a good effort for the losing side as he went 8 for 18 on his way to 18 points and five boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Holden Warnick, who posted 12 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stansbury, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Park City by a score of 77-64 on Tuesday.

Jordan has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Stansbury, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15.

Jordan came up short against Stansbury in their previous matchup back in January, falling 53-49. Can Jordan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
