Woodruff and Chesnee are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2021, but not for long. The Wolverines will host the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Woodruff came up short against Laurens and fell 57-49. The Wolverines have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Chesnee won against Broome on Tuesday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Eagles breezed past Greer Middle College to the tune of 73-33. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Woodruff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. Chesnee has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Woodruff strolled past Chesnee in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 56-40. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
